On May 7, 2025, Utah becomes the first state to ban LGBTQ+ pride flags from schools and government buildings. This hoodie is for everyone who refuses to be erased. It’s the new Utah flag — mountains, canyon, beehive — remixed with unapologetic rainbow rebellion.

Why Self Loathe Club Is Getting Involved

Self Loathe Club™ was never about staying quiet. We exist for the misfits, the overthinkers, the ones who’ve been told to tone it down — or disappear entirely. When Utah decided to ban Pride flags, we decided that was the moment to get louder. This hoodie is protest you can wear. It’s visibility in a place that’s trying to erase it. And it’s proof that even in a state trying to shut things down, community can still rise up.


35% of every hoodie sold is donated:


25% is split between:

  • Encircle – builds safe homes and provides therapy, support, and community for LGBTQ+ youth and families across Utah
  • Equality Utah – fights for LGBTQ+ rights in the Utah Legislature and courts, working to change policy and protect queer lives


And like always, 10% store-wide is always donated, split between:

  • NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness)
  • Mental Health America


Because mental health support is just as essential as visibility.

What does The Trevor Project mean to Josh?

When deciding the charity that we wanted to highlight for this merch drop, The Trevor Project, was at the top of the list. Having grown up in a pretty close minded Christian home, it was difficult to be my 100% unique self. 

With myself being bi, my oldest being gay, and my youngest being trans, I wanted to make sure that we support charities that support them and give them resources to help navigate life. The Trevor Project aims to lower the suicide rate of LGBTQ+ youth by giving them a 24/7 support through advocacy, crisis services, and public education.

Every life is important and deserving of being heard and seen, even if it goes against your personal views. That is why we want to support The Trevor Project with this merch drop.
