Today’s self-love challenge? Dealing with plans falling through.
The cringy version would say: ‘When one door closes, another opens. Use this time to realign with your inner peace.’
The SELF LOATHE CLUB version? ‘Plans got canceled. Old me would’ve spiraled into overthinking and self-pity. New me? Channeling that energy into projects I’ve been putting off and refusing to let this day go to waste.’
Here’s why this matters:
• Taking a moment to pause before reacting stops the downward spiral.
• Shifting focus to something productive or enjoyable helps regain control.
• Honestly, keeping busy feels better than overthinking every possible scenario.
So yeah, my plans fell apart, but instead of falling apart with them, I made the best of it.
